There are so many folders to choose from when you are about to submit your work to the group. To prevent confusion and people submitting in the wrong folders (It’s a real pain), we’ve typed out some guidelines to help our members out. Global submission limit is two per day, except for the Featured folder, which is 1 per month.

    :bulletpink::bulletpink: ON THE FAVOURITE FOLDER: This folder is not for our members to submit their own entire gallery. You can propose other users' works here, so not your own. :bulletpink::bulletpink:


Folders:


:bulletgreen: :new:Featured: This folder is there to showcase our users’ best works. It is the only open folder that has the submission process active, because we want to have a folder that displays art that was made on a higher skill! Submission limit of 1 per month and the quality check is rather strict, so pick your absolute best work!

:bulletgreen: Digital art: Art that was made on a computer, using programs like Photoshop, SAI, Gimp, …

:bulletgreen: Traditional art: Art that was made using traditional media, like pencils and paint.
    :bulletblue: OC: This folder is for original characters - both completely original and fan. Drawings of friends’ OCs go here too.

    :bulletblue: Fan art: This folder is for art that depicts non-original characters, meaning characters that belong to a franchise.

    :bulletblue: Fantasy: Works that depict non-existent creatures such as unicorns, centaurs, mermaids, demons, … If you have an OC that is a fantasy creature, it goes to the OC folder.

    :bulletblue: Animals: Works that depict existing animals, like cats, dogs, crocodiles, axolotls, …

    :bulletblue: Landscapes and scenery: Works showing scenery or landscapes, meaning things like forests, plains, cities, …

    :bulletblue:Fractal and abstract: Geometric figures, each part of which has the same statistical character as the whole.

    :bulletblue: Other: Everything else. This can be fractal, objects, typography, …

:bulletgreen: Photography: Pictures that were made with a camera.
    :bulletblue:People: Photographs with people as focus.

    :bulletblue: Animals: Photographs with animals as focus.

    :bulletblue: Landscape and scenery: Photographs with the focus on landscapes and scenes.

    :bulletblue: Objects and plants: Photographs showing objects and plants. If you photographed for details, like an eye or the close-up of a building's decoration, it goes here too.

:bulletgreen: Comics: A story consisting of different panels. This can be both traditional and digital.

:bulletgreen: Artisan crafts: Pictures of tangible works, like models, dolls, figurines, origami, fursuits, taxidermy and jewelry go here.

:bulletgreen: Photo manipulation: Art that was made by composing different stock images into one new picture, often with Photoshop.

:bulletgreen:Cosplay: Pictures of individuals or groups dressing up like a franchise character. People in fursuits go here too.

:bulletgreen: Literature: Written works, like poems, stories, settings, … If you have a whole story, please do not submit every chapter.

:bulletgreen: Memes and journals: For deviantART memes, not internet memes, that were filled out, or journals.

:bulletgreen: Tutorials: Pieces that have a purpose to teach others about how to make art, do certain things, … These can also be written.

:bulletgreen: Reference sheets and profiles: Character sheets, both drawn and written, go here.

:bulletgreen: Animations and Flash: Works that were animated or made in Flash.

:bulletgreen: Other/not sure: Anything that doesn't belong in the other folder, or whenever you’re unsure where to submit.

It says the global limit is 2 per day, but you have it set for 2 per month..... :shrug:
